BSGE Lady Sting beat Queens Vocational on Tuesday, March 31st, 12-2 at Big Bush Field in six innings.
Nina Don did her best to jumpstart the offense reaching base four times. She scored three runs and had one RBI.
BSGE took the lead in the first by scoring two and never looked back.
Queens Vocational had no answer for Bergerson, who kept runners off the basepaths in her appearance. Queens Vocational managed just one hit off of the BSGE Sophomore, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out nine during her six innings of work.
Bergerson also had two hits and drove in four in the win.
Catcher Rakia Islam went 2 for 3 in the win, driving in a run.
BSGE is now 2-0 going into a long break.
