BSGE Lady Sting Varsity beat Queens High School Complex 4-3 on Thursday, April 16th, at Big Bush.
BSGE scored five runs in the fifth to seal its victory.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the third, with four lead changes.
BSGE pulled out the win thanks to a strong third inning. BSGE went up for good on a two-run single by Claire Bergerson off Samantha Sanchez, scoring Nina Don and Rakia Islam.
Maya Juman racked up three RBIs on three hits for BSGE. She singled in the second, third, and fourth innings.
Emily Costa recorded the win for BSGE. She allowed three runs over five innings. She struck out five, walked four and surrendered one hit.
