American Studies falls 10-4 at the hands of BSGE Lady Sting

BSGE Lady Sting beat American Studies on Thursday 10-4 at Big Bush in seven innings on Thursday, April 23rd.

Seniors Laura Agosta and Kara Fallon both had RBI singles in a four run fifth inning that helped BSGE take a commanding lead.

Pitcher Claire Bergerson went 2-4, drove in one and scored three runs. Bergerson also recorded the win for BSGE Lady Sting. She allowed four runs over seven innings. She struck out nine, walked eight and surrendered six hits.

First baseman Emily Costa led the team with two RBIs.

Cecilia Humphrey was charged with the loss. She allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked seven and struck out five.
