photoBSGE Lady Sting jumped out to an early lead on Academy of Television and Film and captured a 17-4 victory on Sunday at Randall’s island.

Eleven runs in the first three innings allowed BSGE Lady Sting to put the game away early.

Starting pitcher, Claire Bergerson racked up four RBIs on three hits for BSGE Lady Sting.

BSGE Lady Sting easily handled Academy of Television and Film pitching as six hitters combined for 10 hits, 12 RBIs and 14 runs scored.

After posting four runs in the third, BSGE Lady Sting again scored four in the fifth. In the third, BSGE Lady Sting scored on a steal of home, scoring Kitagawa.

BSGE Lady Sting increased its lead with two runs in the fourth. A steal of home scored Carroll for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by Makeila Jameison‘s single, plating Kitagawa.

Winning pitcher, Claire Bergerson, struck out 13 batters in 5 innings of work for the win.
