BSGE Lady Sting jumps on Robert F. Wagner early and coasts to 14-1 win

BSGE Lady Sting jumped out to an early lead on Robert F. Wagner and captured a 14-1 victory on Monday at Big Bush Field.

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed BSGE Lady Sting to put the game away early.

A two-run single by Claire Bergerson during the first inning and a walk by Jennifer Qu, fueled BSGE Lady Sting’s offense early.Nina Don led BSGE Lady Sting’s offensive threat, as she got on base four times in the game. She scored four runs and had two RBIs.

Emily Costa struck out seven, paving the way for a BSGE Lady Sting win. Costa allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over five innings.

Chastity Aquino took the loss for Robert F. Wagner. She allowed 14 runs in four innings, walked 18 and struck out one.
