An 11-run explosion in the first inning lifted Lady Sting Softball to an 11-0 win in five innings over Queens Complex at Big Bush Park on Thursday.
Lady Sting Softball scored on an RBI single by Claire Bergerson, a two-run home run by Jamie Carroll, an RBI triple by Amanda Eng, a groundout by Peyton Heron, an RBI single by Rakia Islam, and a three-run home run by Nina Don.
Jennifer Qu also contributed with three stolen bases and two runs scored.
Claire Bergerson allowed only one hit, walking no one, over five scoreless innings.
Lady Sting improves to 9-0 in the regular season.
