Lady Sting jumped out to an early lead on Information Tech HS and captured a 21-7 victory on Monday at Murray Playground.
With 19 runs in the first three innings, Lady Sting left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
A 14 run first inning was highlighted by a three run double by Amelia Chen and a two run homer by Nina Don.
Starting pitcher Claire Bergerson struck out 12 in 4 2/3 innings, giving up no runs. Relief pitcher, Rakia Islam gave up 7 runs on 7 walks in a third of an inning.
Lady Sting Softball easily handled Information Tech pitching as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
Lady Sting Softball got two-run rallies in the third inning and the fourth. In the third, Lady Sting Softball scored on a wild pitch, bringing home Marika Cygert.
With the win, BSGE improves to 10-0.
